Oh Deer

$3,500.00

Oh Deer! Sit Here

What better chair can be added to a mountain or rustic setting than this set of fantastic Oh Deer! Chairs. No one will have anything like these, and you will have great conversation pieces to an otherwise ordinary room or office.

No part of a deer was used to make these masterpieces. The seats and backs are upholstered with a "hair-on-hide" cowhide, and the golden antlers are made out of resin. The vintage French armchair adds a bit of formality with a bit of Rustic humor. The hand applied lacings on the arms and back give them a Western Native American woodsy flair.

The surprise on back is a hand fashioned wag-able white tail, made from pieces of the cowhide and a bit of responsibly farmed fur (curated from a meat byproduct industry).

The hand rubbed Kona stain on the legs and arms mimics the darker features on a deer. The antlers were carefully shaped to go into the frame of the chair, then glued and screwed from the underside of the frame.

Each chair is slightly different because of the uniqueness of the hair_on-hide. I like to call them "brothers" instead of twins. Based on frames I have in stock. You get to choose!
